Kindness involves acts of generosity and concern for others, without expecting a reward in return. We're honoring the beautiful souls who work at Terranam Wellness for their kindness.


A COLLECTIVE HUG

When I started Terranam Wellness, I wanted to create an environment of kindness and peace for our clients, a place where no one is judged and we embrace everyone, no matter where they are on their journey of self-care. To give this collective hug to our guests, our staff had to be carefully selected to ensure that they, too, are committed to our mission of kindness, mindful people who care for themselves and others. Here we honor a part of our team.


MAGICAL MASSEUSE

Every guest that experiences our unwind massages with Belen comes out looking like they've melted after the magic of her work! Belen considers herself a body therapist, specializing in postural re-education and craniosacral osteopathy.

She believes that our bodies are one of our most valuable resources and a crucial source of our health and vitality. In her massages, Belen focuses on offering our clients deep relaxation and a chance to establish body consciousness.

When she isn't working her massage magic, Belen can be found swimming in the sea, singing and walking barefoot to ground her body to the earth.



PLANT LOVER & LEARNER

Meet Cristina. She has been a professional gardener and landscaper for over 20 years. In this time, she has watched the seasons fly by at Terranam Manor, tending to our garden, trees, and flowers. Cristina loves plants; she enjoys spending time with them, watching them grow and believes they have a lot to teach us.

With her dedication to the grounds of Terranam Manor, Cristina ensures that our lemon, orange and fig trees provide plenty of fruit, our herb garden is abundant with fragrance and our pool area is always pristine.

When she's not spotted gardening, Cristina likes to spend time with her family and enjoys delicious Galician cuisine.


SOUND WHISPERER

Uxia is multitalented: a tibetan yoga and zine meditation master, personal trainer and pilates teacher. At Terranam, Uxia is the master of ceremonies for the extraordinary sound baths in our converted chapel. Outside of Terranam, she has been working with sound therapy for over 8 years, accompanying people who are ill or in hospice care on their journey with sound healing. Uxia trained under Jacomina Kistemaker and in Nepal with masters of Tam Tam gongs and monochords. Her sound healing offers a chance for introspection and self-discovery. In her free time, Uxia likes to wander the Galician mountains and perfect the art of doing nothing.



RAY OF SUNSHINE

Meet Antia, our ray of positive energy & smiles!

Born and raised in Galicia, Antia has always been curious about the world. After studying Sports Science at Uni, she headed to India to train as a yoga teacher.

Today, yoga is the central axis of her life. She loves to share her considered practice with our clients, giving them the tools to apply yoga's learnings in their everyday lives, a chance to rediscover their unique essence.

In her free time, she loves to reconnect with nature, come rain or shine!



SHADOW OF PERFECTION

Conchi has Terranam Wellness in her veins. She's been here since this was just an 18th century manor in ruins. She has nurtured and cared for this hotel and ensures that our clients discover crisp, clean sheets, pillows perfectly in place and fresh flowers lovingly placed in each room.

She believes in all things wellness: riding her bike to work, healthy cooking, tending to her garden and spending time with her grandaughter.

Conchi prefers to stay in the background- even getting her to pose for this picture was a challenge! But we wanted to honor her because we are grateful for her high standards and rigorous attention to cleanliness and comfort for our guests.



SELF CARE TIP

True kindness can be found in the smallest of gestures. Spread kindness in your everday interactions: smile, hold the door open for someone, offer a compliment, or simply ask someone how their day is going. By doing this, you can make a big difference in someone's life and you help create a more compassionate and caring world, one small act of kindness at a time.❤️
