The press can’t stop talking about our menu and our retreaters are begging us to publish a Recipe book. Here’s the lowdown on our Gastronomic wellness experience.


As a loyal retreater for the past 10 years, I was always a bit disappointed by the food on offer. Sure, there were fresh ingredients, smoothies, chia puddings and lots and lots of quinoa, but the menu always seemed repetitive and a bit of an afterthought.

When I created Terranam Wellness, I wanted nutrition to be one of the key pillars of our self-care retreats. After all, feeding your body also feeds your soul!

So, we poured all our passion into creating a gastronomic culinary experience that honors our real food values, nourishing our guests, the community and the environment.


To achieve this ambitious goal, we hired an international Michelin-star trained chef to thoughtfully design our dishes to delight your palette and surprise your senses. With her help, we created over 50 recipes and then, gathered a team of very willing volunteers, ranging from strict vegetarians to meat-loving skeptics, to taste them all 😋

We want you to discover the richness of plant-based and seafood dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. In fact, 85% of our ingredients are coming from our own kitchen garden and the local Galician fishing villages. We also focused on the zero-waste principle, ensuring nothing is thrown away.

To complete the process, we then set about working with a nutritionist to ensure all of the dishes were balanced, performance-boosting and met all daily dietary requirements, leaving your tummy and your tongue satisfied.


The result is a menu that is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced at a wellness retreat! It’s bursting with unique and flavorful combinations, making vegetables the star of the show and celebrating Galicia’s traditional ingredients. Oh, and it’s also mind-blowingly delicious!

How you eat is just as important as what you eat. Next time you sit down for a meal, practice being present. This means no multitasking; get rid of distractions (phone, pc, tv, etc). If you’re working from home, this is a great place to try this for the first time. Take the time to see, smell, chew and savour every delicious bite. Try putting your fork down between mouthfuls. You’ll discover that mindful eating practices make you better at listening to your body’s needs. ❤️
